Q. How much do website packages cost?

A. They cost:

  • Starter (5 pages): £149.00 + vat per year / £14.90 + vat per month
  • Professional (50 pages): £209.00 + vat per year / £20.90 + vat per month
  • Platinum (unlimited pages): £269.00 + vat per year / £26.90 + vat per month

The discount for paying annually is the equivalent of two months free. If you pay monthly, then there is a one-off £250.00 + vat set up fee.

Value Added Tax (VAT) is charged at 17.5%.

Q. How much are ecommerce packages?

A. To buy an ecommerce package you must also buy a website package; ecommerce packages cannot be bought ‘stand alone’. They cost:

  • ecommerce 50: £99.00 + vat per year / £9.90 + vat per month
  • ecommerce 500: £169.00 + vat per year / £16.90 + vat per month
  • ecommerce unlimited: £239.00 + vat per year / £23.90 + vat per month
  • product variants (allows size and colour options): £49.00 + vat per year / £4.90 + vat per month (requires an ecommerce package)

In addition you will need an internet merchant ID from WorldPay (see the selling online FAQs for more information). This costs:

  • £160 + vat per annum
  • £85 + vat one off set up fee
  • 4.5% of transaction value for credit card transactions / 50p per transaction for debit card transactions

(Prices are for WorldPay’s WorldDirect account, which applies to 95% of small businesses; transaction prices for BankDirect account may be slightly lower)

Q. Can I upgrade?

A. Yes, you can upgrade at any time. When you upgrade you will be charged the exact proportion of the payment due until your next regular payment date. So if you are paying for a Starter package annually, and you decide to upgrade to a Professional package exactly half way through the year, then you will make an interim payment of £35.00 + vat (half the difference of £70.00 + vat between Starter and Professional Packages when paid for annually), after which your annual payments will be £169.00 + vat.

Upgrading does not incur the one off set up fee of £250.00 + vat.

Q. How can I pay?

A. All of your payments can be done online; there is no need to call us to make payments.

We accept any of the major credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Delta, Solo, Electron, JCB. Unfortunately we cannot accept Amex or Diners Club.

We are looking at introducing standing order or direct debit payments in the future and can, if you require, take payments by cheque for annual payments only.

We do not accept cheque payments for monthly plans.

Q. Is payment secure?

A. Yes. Your card details are only taken at WorldPay’s site (they are not held on our servers, nor are they accessible to us), which is fully secure and processes online payments for the major high street banks. You need have no fear about the security of your card details.

Q. Do I need to pay in advance?

A. Yes, your service will only be activated once you have made successful payment .

Q. How much does it cost if you build my website for me?

A. Costs vary, depending on the amount of design work you require, and the degree to which you have already prepared your content / images!

However, assuming that you have prepared all of your content, the build cost typically starts from £250 + vat. Please contact us at support@onlinebizbuilder.com and we will help you calculate how much it might cost to build your website for you.

Q. Do I receive an invoice?

A. Yes, each time a payment is made successfully you will receive an invoice from us by email, for your records. You need take no action: the invoice is simply a record for you that payment has been made.

To correctly receive your invoice, please ensure that you enter a valid email address and the correct invoice address, when first making payment.
